Batch interpret multiple files
on Oct 12, 2017 at 9:42:07 am

Hi

I used to use Cinema Tools to batch reinterpret the framerate of many files at once, e.g from 23.98 to 25fps.

Since macOS Sierra, Cinema Tools is no longer supported. Do you know any other tools which can do this?

In Premiere and AE, Interpret footage only affects the clips within Prem/AE, not the master files. In Media Encoder, you can only change the interpret framerate for each clip individually, not the whole batch. I'm looking for a tool which can reinterpret the framerate of the entire batch of master files - like Cinema Tools used to.

Thanks in advance.

Nick

Hi Nick.

I use EditReady2 {link] for many batch transcoding services. I think the price is about $50 and I'm very happy with it.

EditReady doesn't CONFORM frame rates...meaning doesn't convert all 24 frames to 25 frames...speeding it up slightly. Or 60 frames to 24 for super slow motion. It can convert, but not conform
