Issues with Log and Transfering GH4 footage

I need a workflow for Log and Transferring GH4 footage.

Shot at 1080
Some at 24 some 60 some 96.

Using MPEG Streamclip to convert but when I try to load source clips in Log and Transfer I get an error message "GH4" contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media.

I know there is a way around this with Cinema Tools but my CT is on the blink.

Is there a way to do this in FCP?

Log and Transfer isn't compatible with the GH4. FCP was discontinued years before the GH4 came out. And no log and transfer plugins are made for this camera and the older FCP.

So you need to continue to use MPEG STREAMCLIP...or Compressor, or EditReady...etc

The GH4 shoots in H264 codec.
You have to convert the files into Pro Res 422 4k or HQ before editing.
You can't edit with the H264 files.

It records 4K MOV files with H.264 codec, which is a final delivery codec that is incompatible with most NLEs including FCP 7, even FCP X. While, as we know, Apple ProRes Codec is the best editing video codec for Final Cur Pro, so if you wanna import Panasonic DMC-GH4 4K MP4/MOV files into FCP 7/X without any issue, you'd better encode Panasonic GH4 4K MOV/MP4 to Apple ProRes codec (1080p would be the best settings.) with a professional program.
