I'm fairly new so forgive my ignorance. How can multiple editors in different locations edit the same project file. We all would need access to the same stuff. We would edit the same time just off and on.
Capture/import and organize all the media onto one drive, with one project file. When you are done, CLONE that drive to other drives so that they all have exactly the same media and organization. Copy the project file to this drive...ship the drives to all the editors.
Edit. Add to the name of the sequence the editors initials and date. So you have something like ACT1_SR_032613
When you need to share cuts/sequences...make a new project and put only that sequence in that project. Email or FTP the project file to whomever needs it. Since the media is in the same file structure, everything should link up. Except for renders...you will need to re-render their sequence.
Also make sure you all have the same plugins and filters.
