Audio is syn in fcp timeline, but out of syn in exported Quicktime movie
on Oct 2, 2012 at 3:14:35 am

I am exporting a three hours video. The exported quicktime video's audio goes out of sync in some parts in playback while it is completely sync in fcp timeline. I use my mac computer to edit and playback. I opened the exported quicktime movie in QT, VLC and MPEG Streamclip apps. The audio was out of syn in some parts in all of them. Any hints is appreciated.

Video Settings:
Frame size: 1280 x 720 HDTV 720p (16x9)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
Field Dominance: None
Editing Timebase: 29.97
Compressor: H.264

Audio Settings:
Rate: 48 kHz
Depth: 16-bit
Config: Channel Grouped

If you are editing H264 directly in FC, that's one of the things that may happens.
H264 is not supported by FC.
