How about: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_5d_...

you get the list when you select your operating system, then it's about a third of the way down

OK, even though I have the .thm files in the folder, It won't recognize the mov files (because the root dir files weren't copied for me?) How can I open the h.264 .mov's ?

aaaah, not sure, search around the forum, I'm sure this has come up before. I have a feeling that you might have to do the conversion to prores (or whatever) in compressor or streamclip...

Wat Camera did you shoot with?

If this footage was shot with T2i/550D then you need to hack the plug-in in order to make it work with FCP.

Are you trying to log & transfer in FCP?

Log and Transfer needs tje folder structure.

So you need

EOS_DIGITAL->DCIM->100EOS7D ( or 5D )-> Your H264/THM files

Create this folder structure and Log and Transfer will work definately.

Thanks all. Simply placing the eos 5d folder with the files into a DCIM folder did the trick for Log and Trans.

It;s not obvious but it is there

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/eos_slr_camera_systems/eos_d...

Select Snow Leopard as the operating system then it's there under Software

EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro 1.6 09/29/14
File Name: CE1160X.dmg.zip

This plugin application is for Final Cut Pro, which was released for users of EOS DIGITAL and Final Cut Pro. This plugin allows you to use the Log and Transfer function to edit movies captured with the EOS cameras.

Ah, I see it, thanks. I was searching under OS Maverick. Not Leopard. Will it still work with OS Maverick?

The highest OS I have with FCP is Mountain Lion, but I think it's just the way Canon have 'filed' their software. I see no reason why it wouldn't work with Mavericks.
