I hate to tell you, but your set top player is SD only.

HD DVDs only work in HD DVD players...and that format lost to BluRay. Toshiba made the HD DVD players. Unless you have a specific HD DVD player, it won't work.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Do you know the workflow or process or proper settings for authoring HD (1920 X1080) projects in DVD Studio Pro?

Thanks.

[Mark Jackson] "Do you know the workflow or process or proper settings for authoring HD (1920 X1080) projects in DVD Studio Pro?"

There is none. DVDSP makes standard-definition DVDs (or defunct HD DVDs) only.

The latest version of Final Cut Studio does offer some very basic Blu-ray authoring from FCP/Compressor, or you can use another tool like Toast (with the optional Blu-ray plugin) or Adobe Encore. There are a few high-end Blu-ray solutions available, but they are all currently much more expensive and PC-only.

HD DVD was a competitor to Blu-ray. It lost in the market and vanished in 2008.
