Alpha channel disappears
on Oct 7, 2008 at 4:05:47 pm

I imported into FCP an image sequence consisting of some 40 psd files with an alpha channel to put them together into an animation. I need to change the speed on some of the frames and I find that when I do that, the alpha channel in only those frames disappears, leaving instead the figure on a black background. Any suggestions?
One more question: is there a maximum image size if one is importing a still from Photoshop with the intention of dollying in to examine a close up detail?
Thanks to you all.

Dunno about the Alpha Channel, but the max size should be 4000x4000...one dimension 4000. FCP can't work beyond 4k imagery.

Why would you do that? Your working with still pictures. If you need one to be longer, you shold just lengthen or shorten them using the trim tools.
