I /am /looking /to /purchase /an /iMac /next /February, /once /the /new /models /are /out /and /the /bugs /have /been /found /and /corrected. /What /system /specs /should /I /be /ideally /looking /for /in /my /new /iMac ? /I /will /be /editing /via /FCE4, /FCPX, Cinema /4D /and //Adobe CS5 /Production /Suite. I /would /like /to /spec /my /machine /so /that /it /runs /above /average /and /smooth /like /butter /when /editing, /rendering /and /compressing. /Help ?

In my experience, memory and disk IO are more important that CPU speed. So what you might give up in CPU clock speed, make up for with more memory (perhaps from crucial because they are inexpensive) and some sort of external Thunderbolt Toaster raid that is meant for the purpose.
