Max. memory for an old G4

Greetings. I've procured an old 450MHz G4 running OSX 10.3.5 with 512MB of memory. I'd like to upgrade the memory on this thing, but don't know the maximum amount. Is it 2GB? Also, the memory sticks in this thing are a total hodgepodge of memory. Three of them are PC100-222-620, and the fourth is PC100-322-620. It obviously works, since I've got the full half-gig now, but I always thought memory had to be matched exactly before it would work (or is this just in PC's?).

Thanks,

crucial.com or kingston.com should both let you choose your model computer and then tell you what the max ram is.

There are no "technical solutions" to your "artistic problems".
Don't let technology get in the way of your creativity!

The 2 stores Zane mentioned are probably your best bet.

But if you want to do a little research before you call them, this site is usually pretty helpful with questions like this:

http://www.apple-history.com/

Find your computer on the timeline and it shows all the technical specs for that machine. This info is available many places, but I find this site easiest to search since it lets you list machine by category or by release date.
