One thing that is really getting on my nerves since upgrading to Leopard is the Sound Output. I'm frequently changing between headphones and the built-in audio output for monitoring audio.
In the days of yore I could just plug in my headphones and turn down the audio on my external speakers. Now I have to go select the headphone output. And when I want to switch back to external, I have to go back to the prefs and select the built-in line out. Sounds fairly trivial, and I guess it is really, but it's still annoying. Is there a way to access the sound preferences more quickly? I read that option+F5 should open the sound prefs, but that doesn't seem to work for me. It would be real nice if I could access the sound prefs from the menu bar, similar to monitor prefs..
