Looking for Tiger for Intel Mac

Hi,

We got a new quad core about a month ago and would like to install Tiger on a separate drive. Does anyone know where we can buy a full install copy for our intel machine? Everything I've seen on Ebay and Amazon is for the G5 machines.

Also, does anyone know if there are any firmware issues if I do this?

Thanks!

Craig

[Craig Hirshberg] "We got a new quad core about a month ago and would like to install Tiger on a separate drive"

The problem with your plans is that any computer released AFTER the release of Leopard is not compatible with Tiger. Tiger will not have all the needed hardware support for your machine, so even it it lets you do an install, it will probably cause the computer to not function properly.

Thank you, we actually talked to the tech guys thru our Apple rep and they basically told us it's a "no-go." - apparently there IS a different firmware, so we're out of luck.

We were hoping to run our Avid Adrenaline off one drive with Tiger and Final cut on Leopard, but it looks like the only way this can be done is if you have a G5.

Oh well, we'll have to wait until June now.
