access point

I've been using an access point to connect my G4 iMac to a wireless router. But recently my roommate changed the router out. Now I can't figure out how to connect the access point and my computer to the wireless signal from the new router.

Am I supposed to use TCP/IP, PPPoE, or Ethernet in my network settings? What information should I type in?

[eggohead] "I've been using an access point to connect my G4 iMac to a wireless router."

What do you mean my access point?

I have never seen the need of anything other then a computer with a wireless card and a wireless router.

Wireless routers are sometimes referred to as access points, but i see no reason you would need to connect a wireless router to another wireless router.

You need to be more specific about what you are using before anyone can give any helpful hints.
