Trapcode Mir - CAMERA ISSUE
on Jul 11, 2018 at 3:12:36 pm

Looking to see if anyone can help me with a camera issue. I have built a low poly mountain scene with trapcode mir. I have placed a camera in the scene and keyframed the z position. I have also placed a 3d text layer at the peak of one of the mountains, however, when the camera goes by the peak, the text does not appear to be "stuck" to the peak, instead it floats away awkwardly like it is being affected by a 2nd camera.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing I would do is to use four views to see if the text is actually lined up with the mountain top. Most likely it is not.

Thanks for the quick response, Kalleheikki! I think you are correct, but I still can't figure out exactly where to place the text. I'm attaching my project file to see where I'm going wrong.

Hi, sorry took me a bit to get to this. Once I figured out which was the right peak the text is supposed to stick to, I think I got it there.
