I have a series coming up at a production company where we can set up and control the Nexis workspaces and not just let a facility take care of that side of things, so I'm considering how best to work with these workspaces and would appreciate any thoughts.
The dailies will be created with NextLab and there will be 4 editors working on a series of 20 eps initially. There will be workspaces for the Projects and Audio etc... but what is the best way to organize the Avid MediaFiles across workspaces?
Is it wise to set up workspaces for each episodes transcodes? Or does this just get over complicated if the shoot is across various eps in a days dailies, and it's better just to have one workspace for the series.
Any tips for how people with a lot of media coming in use the work spaces would be really appreciated.
