I want to be able to build a complex, multi-layer shader, say in Color, and COPY all those complex shader components and use them in the "Bump Map" settings.
ie.. Make a Wood type texture, and use that same texture shader as the wood bump.
Is there a fast way to copy and past, or save part of a shader as a preset?
I'm sure I could jot down the setting and remake them, but would be outstanding to copy paste, or better yet, link them
PS.. We are having a blast with it.

Here's how to do it:
1. Click on the Shader preview image that you want to copy (the image to the left of the Color checkbox).
2. Type Cmd+C (or Control+C on Windows) to copy it.
3. Click on the Shader preview image where you want it to be pasted (the image to the left of the Bump checkbox).
(you may have to add a default Bump shader before you can select the preview image)
4. Type Cmd+P (or Control+P).
Note that you can copy like types, so Shader to Shader, Shader Block to Shader Block, and Material Channel to Material Channel.
