This has got to be too simple, but it is driving us crazy.

Problem:
We have Proanimator 4.1 (PC). When animating a word, and use an X/Y rotation, everything works fat, dumb and happy.

However we need to activate a Hard Group to keep characters from bashing into one another.

The real problem--when animation ends, there is a one-frame "jump" or shift of the entire word. Not too dramatic, just a small 5 to 10 pixel hick-up, but enough to be noticed.

We figure this is the basic of basic for animating one line of text, but the the jump is an anomoly we can't addess--any suggestions?

Hi Dave.

Would you be able to send me your project file? I'd be happy to take a look.

Let me know where to look in the file for the problem.

Send files to: matt@zaxwerks.com

Thanks a lot.
