You could try selecting the balloon objects and changing the hard shading angle in the object stats box-- this can smooth the appearance of the surface a bit in some cases.
However, I suspect you'll need to increase the density of the mesh by subdividing the polygons and smoothing the surface.... to do this, you'll need access to one of a variety of 3D apps with that capability. Do you have anything like that? If not, I can think of some options, including open source modelers.
