Zaxwerks and Photoshop CS3 Extended

Does anyone who uses the Zaxweks (After Effects plugin) happen to know if now with the recently announced Photoshop CS3 Extended one will be able to create 3D text/objects in Photoshop for import into AfterEffects CS3? If so, will this replace the need for a plugin such as Zaxwerks? I was thinking of buying Zaxwerks but first am trying to find out about any overlap between PS CS3 X and Zakwerks.

As far as I can tell, you can create 3D *planes* in Photoshop which can be exported to AE, but nothing like the Zaxwerks products creates. CS3 adds 3D compositing, which means 2D layers in 3D space. The sort of thing AE has had since version 5.0.
