I'm trying to import an object (paint brush) into AE with zaxwerks. The object was a .max file that I had someone convert into a .3ds file. When imported, the brush part and the handle are not lined up. Is this a conversion problem or something with Zaxwerks?
I'm betting the conversion messed up the file. Here's a reminder - if you want to apply different materials (textures) to diffferent parts of the object, you'll want to have the parts separated in the 3D app, then imported in parts.
