I've been using the zaxwerks models for a few years, but my main problem is that the text still looks 'generic'. I would like to start with a text model and create something more defined, along the line of these pics i found in another thread, but with text instead of objects.

Should i just abandon the text creation tools to do this and make an illustrator based logo? Am i just not utilizing the settings in zaxwerks? Thanks

Hi Powcoder,

The trick to get over the generic look is to learn how to manipulate and create your object textures.
You could use AE, PS, IL or any other program for this. My tip would be to concentrate on the material attributes as well as the different mapping techniques Invigorator has to offer.
I created the first Creative Cow Tools Series (InvigoMany) in order to unveil those tricks. Don't get me wrong here, I am not asking you to buy the product, or am I? :-)

Salut.
Serge
