SEMAFX wants to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your contributions and support of our efforts here in Michigan and the Midwest!
Our PluginPalooza! Event was a great success last night!

Although I only had a few hours to play with the new Werks tools and 3D Flag, I put on a very popular little demo that gathered a crowd, especially when I made a waving flag of our LOGO in about 12 seconds! And the new Glintwerks was very impressive... I like to use cheesy Lightwipes on all my logos! the soft feathering adds a blur in one step, which was very cool.

Judging from the non-stop loud enthusiastic chatter, smiles, high fives and dedicated schmoozing going on, this was another successful night for SEMAFX. And we had so many first-timers! That's a great sign!

So, we appreciate all your continued hard work and considerate support of our local artists! By helping us put on bigger and better events, SEMAFX can do that much more to serve our members and the entire creative community! We wish you the greatest success with your incredible tools!

I'll be in touch.

The great thing about Glintwerks is that you're not limited to "cheesy" light wipes. There are so many cool features in this plug-in that you can create some wonderfully subtle and realistic looks as well as some great special effects.

Gosh John!

I read your reply and then got all worried that my "Cheese" comment might sound like I was saying something bad about Glintwerks! I loved it! And I'm looking forward to exploring all its capabilities and promoting them to all my local network of AE users...

I appreciate your pointing out the subtlety factor... too often people (like me) go for the glitz and forget to be restrained in the application of these powerful tools!

In the context of a DEMO, as I was... there is a tendancy to be heavy handed with showing the full effect itself, and not worry about how it might look in some final product.

So, please know that my mention of cheese is esteemedly applied as if spoken in loving tones from my worthy neighbors from Wisconsin, the home of Cheese Pride!

(gosh, now I went and offended the cheeseheads!)

Thanks for the clarification! I just thought it would be a shame if prospective users ignored a great product because they were under the impression that all it did was cheesy glints :)

I need to get more experience with these tools, but I can already see that anyone who is trying to add dimension and atmosphere to their scenes will find Glintwerks a valuable tool- for creating deep, layered effects in a fraction of the usual time!

Keep up the great work, Zax & Co.!

Scott
