Is Adobe Illustrator the only way to get text objects into Zax? I have Freehand but I'm still stuck running AI in Classic mode with a spattering of pathetic fonts. Have they at least upgraded to alow versions higher than AI 9? Just curious. Thanks in advance.
It is not compulsory to use Adobe Illustrator.
I use CorelDraw12, convert my texts to curves, then export to AI (version 7) and so far have not hit a single problem. Once in Invig or in ProAnim I would set the Spikebuster to 100 and choose the appropriate edges. All can be found under the Objects tab.
As for the version higher than AI (V9), I also use Adobe Illustrator CS and found no related issues with the either of these applications.
Version 4.x of Zaxwerks Invigorator 3D and any version of ProAnimator has a Text editor built in,
so in many cases, you won't need to import any outlines. You can do all of your editing within Invigorator.
Take a look at the demo version to see if it fits your needs.
