Sorry if this is on the wrong topic, but was hoping someone could help me out with this.
I'm currently looking to build an edit suite that has two 16:9 computer monitors and one vertical monitor to display 1:1 content. Right now, I have my monitor connected to my AJA IO 4k Plus. I get the image and my sequence settings are correct (1080x1080) but my image is sideways and I have no way to flip it on the monitor or the AJA. I also have an Ultrastudio 4k extreme in-house but I don't think that's going to give me what I want either.
Are there any recommendations out there to accomplish this? Here's what I currently have. If there's something else I should be investing in or replacing a product, would love to know!

Hey not sure if you ever figured this out but hopefully I can help.
We have an edit suite here that has the same issue. The Black Magic ultra studio 4k sends our signal to a Flanders monitor and a big client OLED. 1080x1080 isn't a supported resolution so what I normally do is build a sequence at the appropriate resolution and just matte the timeline.
So in your case just make a sequence 1920x1080 and matte parts of the width to get it to be square for client viewing.
Personally I wouldn't flip the monitor for viewing I would go the route I outlined.
If you're exporting via premiere you can crop it through media encoder. If that's a headache you could just nest it into a 1080x1080 sequence when you're ready to export.
