Producer 11.5 error code 1280?

Hey guys,
My university got a MacBook Pro (15-inch MacBook Pro, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo/2GB SDRAM/256MB VRAM/160GB 5400rpm) and a copy of Media 100 Producer v.11.5 w/ year-end money last week and I installed the software on it but when I go to open it, I get that it can not open due to error code 1280. Anyone know what this might be? I left a message w/ Media 100 tech support but have yet to hear back from them. I figured the folks on Cow are pretty fast so I figured I'd throw it out here for response. I will add that I see that ver. 11.6 for Intel and PPC users is available for download. Should I just install that? Will my activation code work for it to make it permanent?

V11.5 was not Intel-native. For your MacBook you need at least V11.6. I am not really sure about your code; did you say you bought it last week? Then you should have gotten a code for 11.6...

Thanks for the quick response Floh,
A rep from media 100 called me just now and echoed your thoughts. I'm downloading the newest version now and will see if it works. The reason we got 11.5 was because year-end orders go out in May/June and then we finally usually end up getting our stuff in late July/early August. I guess the new version came out in the middle of that. The rep said the sales dept could handle the activation code situation.
