Legacy codec problem... need help
on May 10, 2007 at 3:07:31 am

Back in 1999-2000, I created some After Effects animations which were output into Media 100. (If I am not mistaken, Media 100 converted my original Quicktime files into Media 100 files.)

Long story short, today I have some important animation files that my home system can't see. In the past, I thought I had the correct codec that allowed me to use these files. Somewhere along the update process, this codec was unknowingly removed or deleted.

Here is the format of a typical video clip name, if this provides any additional clues:
examplename-01.01.39.23-V300

I want to import these files into After Effects (preferrably) where I can re-render them (uncompressed) as Quicktime movies, so I can show them to a client.

Thanks for any guidance.

D'OH!

The good ol' "Search" button led me to this thread:

and the Codec in that link is doing me right.

There is joy in Muddville tonight. Hooray.

Lumpy? Is this the Lumpy that used to work at Media 100? Just wondering.
