Export to mpg format

Our video editor has a Media 100 system and creates wonderful content for our ministry. I have been working with her to see if she can export a commercial to mpg format that would be compatible with Microsoft Windows. When she exports to MPEG, it doesn't work on a PC. Is there a codec/codec pack that we can install to remedy this?

Hi Chris, You might just try exporting as a quicktime movie. Your editor will find many differernt compressions to encode from. If quality is the highest importance, use tha animation codec - but remember high quality means high encoding times and a large file. "Video" seems to be a middle of the road solution which delivers good quality and moderate file size. The PC end person can just download a free version of quicktime player and the movie should play just fine on their PC. Best of Luck! Kind Regards, Chris K.
