Anyone been able to get the Media 100 Software Codec running on any intel based macs? I'm currently running a MacBook Pro and have tried running the installer. It seems to install fine (no error messages) but when I try to open up a self contained movie, I just get a white screen with Quicktime saying that it cannot find the codec.
If it's not a universal binary (and I suspect it isn't, at least not yet), it won't load under Intel-native QuickTime.
You *might* be able to get it to load under Rosetta by forcing QuickTime Player to run under Rosetta, too. Instructions, cribbed from Apple's support site:
Click the QuickTime Player's icon in the Finder.
From the Finder File menu, choose Get Info (or press Command-I).
Select the checkbox named "Open using Rosetta."
Close the Get Info window.
(I don't have an Intel Mac myself, but assuming QuickTime Player is Universal, this should work.)
