Anyone use Speedgrade in a professional setting?

Does anyone's setup allow for fluid control of corrections?

It's hard for me to believe anyone would choose to use this program sitting by themselves much less with a client in the room. Truly a nightmare.

It's a real tease to have the potential power of it but have it so bolloxed that it is unusable.

In standalone mode (without direct link to Premiere) it works normally. However the program doesn't handle formats such as XAVC natively.

At NAB last year, I had the joy of being in a room with some highly professional folks ... I assume you'd consider a person who does the grading work for the nightly intros of a couple of our major news & sports networks evening programs (and been at the last several Olympics) ... rather professional.

So, yes, it's used by some serious pros, and yes ... it's also got some serious issues with say surfaces and such. It's a love/frustration relationship?
