Cannot save

I get a spinning ball crash every time I try to save an untitled new project using SpeedgradeCC. Can anyone help?

MacOSX 10.7.5
2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon

Thanks!

I've been workin on speedgrade all day and suddenly began having this problem as well.

I'm simply importing a self-contained quicktime from Premiere and trying to save afterward. Once I click the save button SpeedGrade freezes...

Not sure what the deal is...

Alright, I found a solution (at least for my situation)

The first thing I did was import a piece of raw footage.

Then I brought in the self-contained export from Premiere.

Then I saved. Successful.

Then I deleted that first piece of raw footage that I initially imported. Save again. Successful.

Not sure why that work, but it worked.

I am glad that you figured something out!

I have discovered that I can only run SpeedGrade if all other apps are closed (with the exception of Premiere Pro - it seems to tolerate that one). This includes any web browser or even my mail. In most cases, SpeedGrade will freeze if I try to launch ANYTHING while it is running. Sometimes it hangs on for a short while, but will eventually freeze up.

If I open a new project, I am able to assign a name and a location, but the timeline never reflects the name I give. It always views as "untitled". Also,"saving" as I make adjustments doesn't really save my work. I have to "save as" and overwrite each time or my work will be lost.

I've noticed those same problems, too, but I assumed I was just doing something wrong since I'm still learning the program. Thanks for the tips!
