This should be fun. Post pics of interesting setups you've had on a shoot. I'll start:

We were not allowed to light a fire inside a hospital so we did it outside:

Fun stuff.

OK! I'll play!

Our retail client wanted exterior stills and video. Issue: full glass storefront, neon lights across the street and a 4-lane road in between with lots of head and taillights. Solution: Drape a 30' high by 100' long landscape plastic between the sign and a scissor lift with aircraft wire. Took us about 2 hours to setup.

Here's one where I needed to see the tips of the snowboards, the car hood and the road surface. That's my trusty DSR-300 DVCam back in the day. While on the roof on the side of the road securing everything, a state cop pulled over and asked if everything was OK. Told him I just needed to tighten down the baggage! He didn't even question that a camera was mounted up there and drove off! Note to clients: this can be cool for you, but don't tell them "oooo, we're shooting a commercial!"
