Dear Community,

I have been speaking with the IT guy at Upaya Zen Center in New Mexico who wants to up their online streaming game live from the Zendo. Right now they are broadcasting zazen and kinhin as well as liturgy chants. The sound is fucntional but he wants to improve it as best he can.

the room is rather large with a wooden floors. Maybe 50x30 maybe , there are some cushions etc.

Also any ideas on good streaming cameras would be nice. I know people on here know their stuff.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hello Matthew and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,

More details, please. What do you wish the mic to pick up?

Hey Mr. Ford,

Thanks so much for the reply. I am enclosing a youtube link to the "Gate of Sweet Nectar" this I believe gives a very good idea of db level that the chanting will occupy ..and this of course will alternate with periods of silence for Zazen and kinhin.

Thanks Again

Hello Matthew,

Given the video, I think you need a person mixing and no AGC on the camera audio input.
