Setting numbered markers

I know M sets a marker and Shift M goes to the next marker, but is there a way to set a numbered marker, like "M5" and then go to it directly with something like "Shift M5."

Thanks

No Sure....

I know that the marker panel can be very helpful in direct to marker navigation...

Once you label several markers in your timeline right click and you'll see a list of your markers, which I believe are numbered. I'm not at my computer now so I can't check, but that's my recollection. Other than that, there is no numbering of markers.

Excellent! The markers panel does it all! Plus you can double-click a marker and add any label you want.

Thanks!
