When I try to nest my audio tracks like I normally do by right clicking on it and choosing nest, the audio tracks do not nest into one track. They do on my other machine, and the settings should be synced, no idea why it's doing this. When I create a new sequence, and drop my main sequence into it, it doesn't create a singe track for audio and a single track for video like it has always done. Please if you know what's going on let me know, if you feel inclined to be rude or arrogant please I would appreciate it if you didn't post, thanks.

In the upper left hand corner of the timeline, next the snap/magnet icon, there is an icon that looks like horizontal bars (that may or may not have a diagonal line through it). This toggles on/off the feature of having nested sequences edit into the timeline as a nest or as individual clips. If it is white, click it to make it blue and see if that helps.
