Hey, I'm starting to learn how to edit video, but I dont have any footage that I can practice with. Does anyone know anywhere where I can download free project files or videos to practice with?

I would recommend your local community college or university for practice files... What format are you looking for?

Here are a few different sources. Be sure to check that the footage is either Public Domain or available for non-commerical use. If you like space-related stuff, NASA released lots of videos and stop-frame sequences including a handful of low compression files that will look great when editing. Unfortunately, they tend to be stored in several locations so you have to be willing to poke around.

Wikimedia Commons
