Hi everyone,

It might be an odd question but I was just wondering if anyone knows a way of pulling out data about a premiere pro project/sequence, like the total number of clips, average shot length, longest shot etc?

Essentially I'm looking to do a cinemetric analysis on a film I have just made, and thought I would check if there's a smart way to get this info before I start doing it manually...it's a long film!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Eleanor

You could export an EDL (edit decision list) and peruse that... An EDL lists all "events" or edits, numbers them, and lists starting timecode, ending timecode, and the duration of each shot.
