Hi, I'll try to be brief and hope someone can answer my question.

I captured some video game footage (silly, I know...) using Bandicam. I'm running the game at 1280x1024, which I understand is not a 16:9 resolution.

My question basically boils down to this: how do I turn that 1280x1024 video into an HD YouTube video without losing too much quality? What project/export settings should I be using? I guess I'll add I wouldn't mind having black bars to the sides on YT.

I've tried everything I could think of (including drag-and-drop onto the New Item icon), but the exported video always turns out to be much lower resolution than the original or what the project settings say it's going to be.

Can anyone help me? Please? (And yes, I used the search function... Please help.)

I think the problem is the Sequence Presets... I honestly don't know which one I should be taking.
