l-click the lick
r-click it and select unlink
the
l-click anywhere outside the clip to release it
and
l-click the clip again

this time when you click it, you will only be able to select one or the other because they are 'unlinked'

now you can ,,, delete the audio, push it over, bounce it to a separate track,,, what ever you want and the same applies to the video

cheers

Sorry,,, to many typos,,, new keyboard...

select the clip,,, right-click that clip,,, and you'll see a selection for 'unlink'

that's gonna separate the audio from the video...

It's important to remember to now UN-select by clicking anywhere you like that is not that same clip,,
then and only then will you be able to select the audio and notice the video is not linked to it,,
thus ,, press del and audio is no more..

cheers
