When I add an GFX on the top of the video I cannot see some frames ( video goes black)....
I mask out a smoke that is coming from the characters castle, and on the half of the smoke GFX the video goes black...

Please help ASAP!

It sounds like you did not make your smoke animation properly. I would double-check the clip in a different application -- After Effects, for instance. You can be able to tell if the entire background is transparent, and not just part of it.

The company that I work for uses paid GFX... They are all transparent, the problem is sometimes when i put for example 2 smoke GFX and then i put third one the video goes black... I have attached screenshots. Smoke GFX is inside the castle you can see it behind the doors.

Hi,

Can you go to your project settings and disable the GPU?

I just re-read your first post. You're trying to eliminate a portion of a shot, correct? What are you using to replace the missing portions?

I just want to add GFX and mask it behind the doors, the problem is when I place the third clip of smoke (GFX) the video goes black (as shown in screenshots). Sometimes i want to use two or four or five GFXs and the screen goes black, it acts randomly....
