Do you pro's render and watch your work inside Premiere Pro, or do you use a media player? Windows Media Player has gotten really terrible as far as picture and sound quality so I started using VLC but it NEVER opens in the right monitor, no matter what I try. I know it's a known problem but VLC never addresses it. So I was wondering, if you guys do use a media player which is your preferred player?

Thanks, Chris, but the description on that page you linked to makes it sound like it's a component in other media players, such as KMPlayer which I tried yesterday and drove me nuts with popup ads. I downloaded the zip file, I'll see if it's an actual player.
Well, it appears to be, but I doesn't open any mp4 videos. Just sits there. And no way to open any files from the player, either. Thanks anyway.

I usually do my mastering in Resolve and I check the output on a calibrated monitor.

Thanks, Tero, but do you use a media player to play your output or do you play your video inside of Resolve? I'm guessing with you guys, you don't use a media player, you render (rather than encode in AME) and then check your work inside of your NLE, right? In which case this was the wrong forum to be asking my question ;-) Wait, let me ask it this way. I know you all use AME. What do you use to watch your encoded footage?
