Hoping to find help for this issue here...

I've used Premiere for around 5 years and when I needed to snap the playhead to a clip edge was able to hold the Shift key for snapping.

Yesterday for some reason shift started not working for that function - now the Ctrl key is doing it.

I haven't been able to figure out how to switch it back. Any help?

Thanks!
Daniel

Open the keyboard shortcuts from the bottom of the edit menu.

From there you can make them anything you want.

Here is more info:

I appreciate your response - I posted here because I was unable to find anything editable in the keyboard shortcut settings.

Dig around in your user folder Adobe data especially if you have folders from previous versions. you may be able to find the file with previous key mapping to swap for the current one.

That being said_

After searching around in the vastly expanded shortcuts you can see in the "Sequence " section the key " S".
You can change it there
Assuming that is the specific motion you wish to change.

If your preferred key conflicts with another command you will have to do some more shifting perhaps.
