As I'm editing between two camera angles on a (1 hour) multicam sequence, I need to paste a graphic multiple times to the V2 track. Although I didn't change any settings (that I recall), suddenly I'm unable to paste anywhere but on V1. Seems basic, but it worked yesterday...not today.

Hi...

it's all in what tracks are tabbed and enabled...

check those settings on the left hand side of the sequence....

v2 should be tabbed and enabled

all others should be not tabbed and enabled if that's where you want the gfx to land with the paste...

Thank you, Alex.
This is what you're describing, is it not?

Still overwriting V1

well yes....

but if you don't want the other tracks to "overwrite" when you paste they have to be not blue (right half)...

or they have to be "locked"

so that they are affected by edits...
