Hi,

My team and I have been experiencing this really weird problem with a couple of projects where when we try to export out H264s using the youtube preset for 23.976 output (have done this for years with 2014 no problem) and we checking the settings and we get very weird frame rates, like 23.91. We have double checked our files and have tried using the format as quicktime and the codec as h264 and same result. When we take an xml of the project back into Premiere CC 2014 it exports fine. Has anyone else experienced this bug in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015? We are at a loss of how to fix this and any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
Amy

What application do you use to determine that the frame rate is off? If it's Quicktime, don't trust it. Instead, import the exported file into After Effects and check. A real Import -- no cheating with Dynamic Link.

Yes, we have been using Quicktime. Is there a reason why the latest version of quicktime wouldn't be trustworthy? We will try the After Effects solve and see if that works though, thanks!

QT has NEVER been reliable at displaying an accurate frame rate.... and since QT will eventually go the way of the Dodo, I don't expect Apple's investing a lot of resources in fixing it.

After Effects, on the other hand, accurately displays frame rates simply by importing, highlighting and looking at the information for the clip at the top of the project panel.
