Hello all.

I have a weird opacity issue on my timeline in latest version of Premiere and was wondering if anyone could shed some light. When I drop a cutaway onto V2 over the top of V1 the cutaway is ever so slightly transparent so I can see a slight ghost of the video underneath.

I've checked and double checked the effects settings on the instance and master clip, and opacity is 100 with no stray keyframes. It's bugging the life out of me.

The cutaway is 4K and the underlying video is 2K but I can't see why that should be an issue.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Chris

Anyone? I've uploaded a couple of stills to help. Disabled all stopwatches, removed all effects. Seems only to happen when the clip is set to slog2 but may be that the 709LUT is just masking the problem with saturation/contrast.

I'd be mightily grateful for any ideas.

Cheers,

Chris
