Hi,

I have Adobe Premiere CC 2015, 5960X, Geforce GTX 970 OC, 32GB DDR4, 2x disk SSD... and I have a big problem my CPU usage for Adobe Premiere CC.

During EXPORT my film - my CPU only uses 35-55% at speeds 2,40GhZ etc.... What to do to take advantage of the full power of the CPU?
I will add - I have the same EXPORT Premiere and the same EXPORT Media Encoder.

Please Help ME :)
THX!

is ok!
I had ask an adobe worker...

when you using GTX and the card is active in your project, then Premiere and your system using CPU and GTX together, and some effects are rendering only with the CPU, some other are rendered by the GTX. It depends on your footage and your export settings ( MP4 or mpg) for rendering.too.
and check the preference for your project and premiere. is there GTX active?

have a look

update to test
what if, when you export an original footage with the same settings? maybe then you will have 100% CPU!!!
when you put some effects on the sequence, then the GPU will render the stuff to export/media encoder

Hi - very! very! THX!!!!!!!

I understand NOW! Must buy other weaker GPU :) haha!
but honestly - would be good to utilize the full power of the PC
100% CPU AND 100% GPU :)

THX, Robert ;)

Not every format/effect/thing you export requires 100 percent of the computer.

I'm using the latest Premiere (9.2) in Windows 10 on a 2011-3 chip with a 980 ti. I noticed the other day that exporting a sequence using the DNxHD codec was only using 53%-74% CPU usage. Exporting the same sequence using the ProRes codec utilized 99%-100% the whole export. I think the CPU usage may depend on the codec you're using. I'm curious now and will run some benchmarks to see the results across different commonly used codecs.
