Working in a premiere project with hundreds of ".mov" proxy clips.

We want the new editor to be able to edit with the RAW 4k r3d clips.

I offline all media, then click Link Media. It asks me where "A001.mov" is. And I relink that to "A001.r3d"

However, when that one is done, it asks me to do the next one "A002.mov" and so forth, Meaning, instead of being able to batch process them. It needs me to do this one by one.

There are hundreds and hundreds of clips in this movie. Is there a way to get the machine to do this more automatically?

What happens if you uncheck File Extension under Match File Properties?

That should work.

If all else fails just export XML from Premiere.
Import into REDCINE and link the Master folder (R3Ds) and then force to open i Premiere (sorry forgot the actual menu name) or just export XML again and import into Premiere.
Ive had to do this a few times cause there is now way to find was is used in a project in Premiere (not that I know off).
Do an XML import into a new project and you notice that it only imports the files used.
