I was wondering. When I set my bitrate past a certain point when encoding, the "Level" goes from 4.1 to 5. The problem is, when I try to play a Level 5 video on my tv (using the USB input), I get an error message saying the format is not supported. Is there a way to raise the bitrate without raising the Level? Or, is there another setting I can change to enable a Level 5 encode to play on an HDTV? A Level 5 video will play fine on my computer and uploads to youtube with no problems.

You should check your TV manual and check what kind of files it can play.

The different profile settings (main, high) have different bitrata caps. Once you hit that you need to pick a higher level.
