Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for good quality headphones to use with Premiere Pro? If this is not the right forum to ask this type of question, my apologies!

I'm very partial to Bose or Sennheiser. What's your budget?

I don't recommend editing with headphones unless that is the way your viewer is going to hear the program.

But if needed, this is an excellent monitoring set;
Sony MDR-7502 Supra-Aural Closed-Back Professional Monitor Headphone.
They don't artificially boost the bass like many general consumer headphones do and they are comfortable.

I was at my local friendly Costco and saw a pair of Bose headphones and it got my mind wandering. Since my cheap headphones at home are on the outs (only one side works, ugh lol)I was thinking about "treating" myself to a nice pair that would be good for editing.

The Costco ones are:

Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones

They are $215 dollars. They felt like heaven around my ears and sounded great but I was wondering what you guys thought in regards to video editing etc.

Not the Quiet Comforts - they introduce noise canceling that can seriously modify your actual sound. I like the SoundLink (more costly) or the SoundTrue (mid-priced). Those two are just plain over/around the ear headphones.

On the Sennheiser side, I like the HD380Pro (same price range as the SoundTrue). Or, if your budget permits, the HD600 or HD650's are unreal.

I also like the Sennheiser HD Pro series, FWIW.

I'd say the Sony MDR 7506. Thousands of audio pros can't be wrong.

I have a Sony MDR-V6 and it has worked for me for over 10 years. I only had to change the ear pads once.

AKG 240, neutral sound and they're also affordable so it isn't a huge bummer if/when they break.
