Hey all,

I am currently editing a film with PP and I am using the delay and reverb effects to create a flashback audio effect. I have ran into a slight pickle however. The echoes caused by delay are cut short as the clip has more dialogue and ruins the effect. Is there anyway to extend an audio clip with black space that will continue the echo without having the next line of dialogue play?

Hi Josh...

I think you would be better served by putting related clips on the same track in the seqence...

then in the sequence audio mixer

you can add the echo at the track level...

then you will no longer experience the effect ending at the clip extent.

thanks for the tips, but I haven't been able to figure out how to apply an effect to an audio track. Nothing online from what I can find. How do I add an effect to an entire audio track?
