When i cut movie clip in sequence timeline and try to change label color for that part of clip, it changes all of my cuts from this original clip to that color even if they are ungrouped, unlinked, duplicated or parts in total different sequence.

I can see the difference in colors when i change it but when i move a mouse all clips have this new color.

QUESTION: is there some kind of link that can be turned off?
Seems the color is affecting only original clip and cant color parts in different colors.

CS6 i CC files works fine nad normal.

Hey Vedran,

Have you found any way to fix this issue?? I'm having the same problem and apparently you're the only other person having this same problem!

Think I found the actual culprit. Go to File menu > Project Settings > General and uncheck "Display the project item name and label color for all instances" This will allow you to only change the color or name of the edit(s) you selected.

Now, there may be some update issues if you made some changes to edits and then check or uncheck this option.
