I usually export in DNxHD when on a PC as an alternative to ProRes, but my current task is to do the same with some 2K and 4K footage from a Red Epic. I'm using Premiere Pro CC. I want to preserve the information, but from what I can find online, I need to either use the FFMBC hack, go uncompressed, borrow a Mac, or buy Avid to use their DNx 444 codec for resolutions above 1080p. None of those options are ideal, so wanted to throw this question out there. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

You can get the newer DNxHR Quicktime codecs from Avid for free. It supports larger resolutions.

Thanks! I wasn't able to find that before.
